• Introduced by Rep. Dave Hildenbrand (R) on January 22, 2007, to allow cities that have income taxes to authorize income tax “check offs” allowing a taxpayer to voluntarily contribute a portion of his or her refund to various purposes established by the city. A person not receiving a refund could use his or her tax return to contribute to the purpose.
