Introduced by Rep. Lee Gonzales (D) on February 1, 2007, to give preference in the awarding of contracts for the operation of cafeterias in public facilities to firms that do not use trans fatty acids in food preparation.

how much do you weigh? what's your blood pressure like? i for one appreciate the government trying to get the ingredients out of food that lead to over 25% of Michigan residents being obese. These companies will continue to feed us these things that are killing us because it's cheap for them unless someone holds them accountable. It's not a bad idea to set standards for the food that is being made for consumption in this state.
