1) A big difference? [by Anonymous Citizen on September 4, 2008] I agree that there should be some grey areas, not everything is black and white. But to say there is no difference between a 15 yr. old and an 18 yr. old, is quite an understatement. Hopefully, there is a huge difference, both in maturity and intelligence. There is no problem with an 18 yr. old having sex with a 22 yr. old, but I feel there is a big problem with a 15 yr. old having sex with a 19 yr. old, those are some very important years of learning and growing, both physically and emotionally for the majority of people. I personally think there should be a two year cut-off for consentual sex for anybody under the age of 18. A 15 yr. old has no business having sex with anybody who is out of/ or should be out of high school, that is rediculous. Reply
