1) A Student Speaking his mind [by Anonymous Citizen on June 15, 2008] I don't know about my fellow students, but I hope that I can at least be safe at school. After all, students learn best in a safe environment, am I right? The school boards, and Bill Clinton, don't think so. The "Gun-Free-Zone" Act only makes students sitting ducks; in fact, if it weren't for this legislation, the shootings at Columbine High School, Virginia Tech, and the Amish schoolhouses in Pennsylvania would not have so many deaths. This law is only making our schools more dangerous for students and teachers, and in the end, no one gains except for crazy lunatics that only want to kill innocent people. Students, teachers, everyone should have the right to carry a gun to defend themselves, regardless of it being a school, office building, or other public place. Reply

3) Jack-ass [by Anonymous Citizen on March 23, 2008] CCW holders are NOT elite. Because we are responsible enough citizens to ensure that we exercise our rights regardless of how difficult our babysitters in Lansing make that for us, even if we have to pay to do it does not make us elitist. Nobody is trying to argue that the government isn't infringing on our rights on a daily basis, so just watch your mouth. Reply
