I've started to take the bus to alleviate some of the burden on my overstrained budget and now you're going to put that at risk! Shame on Michigan legislators! Reply
3) I don't get it [by LakeOrionMom on June 22, 2008] Why would you reduce the amount of money going to public transportation when we have soaring gas prices. The only reason I can see is that your lovely budget is short $472 million and you're trying to figure out ways to steal more from middle class Michigan citizens -- those folks already marginalized by high energy prices who might need to take a bus to get to/from work and errands -- because gas is just too pricey.
