2012 House Bill 5805: Exempt “health care sharing ministries” from insurance regulations

Public Act 530 of 2012

This bill would not prohibit the Department of Insurance from going after health sharing organizations as all of them operate under a de facto "promise to pay" between participants which negates this exemption.
