2017 House Bill 4529

Let lottery agents also take bets on sporting events (legalize “bookies”)

Introduced in the House

April 26, 2017

Introduced by Rep. Robert Kosowski (D-16)

To let state lottery ticket agents (sellers) accept and “parlay” bets on sporting events. The bill would require the state gaming control board and lottery bureau to create rules and new “sports betting agent” license that lottery agents would have to get to enter the “bookie” business.
