2017 House Bill 4840: Authorize school speed zones on freeways

To repeal a law that exempts limited access highways (freeways) from school speed zones, meaning expressways could also be subject to school speed zones. The bill would also permit school speed zones on a highway adjacent to school property over which a pedestrian overhead walkway has been erected, which is not currently allowed.   Official Text and Analysis.
