2012 House Bill 5529: Give “biobased” product state purchasing preference
  1. Introduced by Rep. Paul Muxlow (R) on April 10, 2012, to require the state to give preference in purchasing and procurement to “biobased” products (meaning ones produced with natural materials rather than plastic, including petroleum and natural gas-based substances). Contracts would have to be given to providers of equivalent “biobased” products, rather than to the lowest bidder, if the price was not more than 5 percent higher.
    • Referred to the House Government Operations Committee on April 10, 2012.

Why? What makes it OK for the government to use our money to pay more for products for dubious reasons. This guy is a typical RINO.

As a so-called Republican you should be ashamed of yourself for wanting to waste taxpayer money on this stupid 'green' farce!
