So not only does this bill squeeze the already poor, but also seniors on a fixed income as well! Good job people. Let's go after the most vulnerable people in society because they can't fight back.
Re: 2012 House Bill 5815 (Increase mobile home tax ) by GH-UpNorth on September 11, 2012 What a wonderful way for Michigan's GOP Legislators to squeeze out a little more revenue without having to touch the wealthy so-called "job creators" - Just impose an 800% tax increase for the poorest members of society... after all, most of them don't really vote... they just sit in their trailers, collect welfare, and drink themselves into oblivion. Two less twelve packs a month and they'll have enough to cover the new tax.
Anyone who thinks the republican party has anything but disdain for the sadly burgeoning lower-income population needs to have their head examined.
