• Introduced by Rep. Lisa Lyons (R) on September 19, 2012, to authorize and establish procedures for creating new forms of “special designation” charter schools for a broad range of purposes outlined in the bill. Among many other options these could include all-boy or all-girl schools, and ones sponsored by municipalities, employers, cultural organizations and more.
