Introduced by Sen. Steve Bieda (D) on November 8, 2012, to establish a new layer of government in addition to the state, county and municipal governments, called “metropolitan” governments. The bill would create a state “metropolitan authority” and council to develop, promote and execute the creation of this kind of government.

Another layer of government....really we don't have enough government at every level enough law and rregulation enough taxes...the disconnect between politician and citizen is amazing
