Authorize compensation for “community center” board members

To repeal a provision that prohibits smaller villages and townships from paying individuals appointed to the board of a “community center,” and instead allow the elected village council or township board to authorize compensation. The bill does not limit the amount of compensation. Villages and township with fewer than 10,000 residents can impose up to 2 mills of property tax for these entities.
