

2011 Senate Bill 29: Allow CPL holders to keep and bear tasers (House Roll Call 182)
Passed 106 to 4 in the House on April 19, 2012, to allow holders of concealed pistol licenses (CPLs) to also keep and bear tasers (electro-muscular disruption devices), subject to the same regulations and restrictions that apply to legally carrying concealed pistols, plus the requirement to obtain training in the use and effects of tasers. Under current law, citizens who are not law enforcement officers are prohibited from possessing tasers.

In Michigan you can open carry, there is no permit needed. You do need a permit to conceal .

Why have concealed pistol laws at all? If the constitution gives us the right to keep and bear arms, why do we need to conceal them? Why can't we just walk around with guns, knives, tasers, and whatever else a person thinks they need in the way of arms, in the open? The NRA is doing it's members a disservice by not insisting their politicians legalize unconcealed arms.
