

2012 House Bill 5699: Cut state income tax (Senate Roll Call 563)
Passed 31 to 7 in the Senate on June 14, 2012, to speed up an income tax cut from 4.35 percent to 4.25 percent that under current law will happen on Jan, 1, 2013. Under the bill, it would go into effect on Oct. 1, 2012. See also House Bill 5700, which increases the personal income tax exemption.
