

2012 Senate Bill 1021: Increase state property tax payments to local governments (Senate Roll Call 754)
Passed 25 to 13 in the Senate on November 27, 2012, to increase from $2 per acre to $4 per acre the amount the state pays to local governments as “payment in lieu of (property) taxes” (PILT) on state-owned land in their jurisdictions, and index it to inflation.
