2002 House Bill 5986

Introduced in the House

April 30, 2002

Introduced by Rep. Stephen Adamini (D-109)

To require that one-year of service credit for pension-setting purposes be granted to an employee of a public school employer that operates for less than 170 days in a school year, if the employee has worked 7.5 hours per day for at least 136 days. This would be an alternative to the current requirement of six hours a day for 170 days for employees of a unit that operates for 170 days.

Referred to the Committee on Senior Health, Security, and Retirement
