Insurance requiring mail order drugs sale regulations

To prohibit health insurers from requiring insured persons to only get prescriptions filled by mail order, paying regular pharmacies less than mail order ones for covered drugs, offering an incentive for using mail order pharmacies, or refusing to reimburse a regular pharmacy for the cost of drugs provided to an insured person in an emergency. House Bill 5437 would impose similar restrictions on Blue Cross Blue Shield. See also House Bills 5435 to 5438.
