Lower diesel tax for bio-diesel

Amendment offered

To place a 10-year sunset on the bio-diesel discount, or eliminate it when the aggregate amount of annual statewide tax savings generated by the discount hits $2.5 million, whichever comes first. Also, to require that the legislature make up the reduction in annual road tax dollars caused by the bio-diesel discount.

The dicount would have 10-year sunset, or be eliminated when it generates annual tax savings of $2.5 million, whichever comes first. The legislature would have to make up the reduction in annual road tax dollars caused by the bio-diesel discount.
