Mandate “Prevailing Wage” for MEGA tax break recipients

To require businesses awarded Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA) tax breaks to follow the state “prevailing wage” law, which requires a firm to pay wages based on union pay scales in a particular part of a geographic region. These wage rates may be above the market rate in other parts of the region.
