Increase financial exploitation of vulnerable adult penalties

To increase the penalties for the crime of committing or attempting financial exploitation or embezzlement of a vulnerable adult’s assets. Serious violations as defined in the bill would be subject to civil fines of up to the greater of $15,000 or triple the value of the targeted assets, and very serious violations would be punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $50,000 or more.
