2016 Senate Bill 891

Give stock offering regulation exemption to certain state university projects

Introduced in the Senate

April 14, 2016

Introduced by Sen. Darwin Booher (R-35)

To revise a recent law that exempts small company stock offerings from state registration requirements, in a manner that would benefit companies that partner with a state university to in a “tech transfer program.” The bill would increase the cap on the amount of stock sales such a company could make and still be eligible for the 2013 law’s exemptions.
