Create a statewide “master teachers” program

To establish a statewide program to pay “master teachers” as defined in the bill annual stipends between $5,000 and $10,000 to provide “professional development to other teachers” and more. School districts would have to select candidates for the program and the Department of Education would have to select up to 100 individuals using criteria specified in the bill for a statewide “master teacher corps”.
