To require the Secretary of State to make it possible for person who has a boating safety certificate given to those who have a boating safety certificate indicating completion of a state-authorized boating safety course to have this indicated on their state ID card. The Secretary of State would also have to make possession of this certificate something police can check on the state Law Enforcement Information Network or other system. See also House Bill 5836.
