To authorize an exception to a requirement for a manual fire alarm box in schools. The bill would specify that “a school that has a secure vestibule is not required to install a manual fire alarm box within the secure vestibule if a manual fire alarm box is located within five feet of the door on the secure side of the vestibule”.
