To require a residential builder and alteration contractor to furnish a prospective customer with a written contract or work order for jobs exceeding $600; and require the Department of Labor and Economic Growth to make available a pamphlet on how to find reputable builders or remodelers. Contractors would have to give customers a copy, and get a written acknowledgement of having done so for jobs exceeding $600.
