To authorize the sale by the state at fair market value of the 35 acres of the former Michigan school for the blind property in Ingham county, and also a smaller parcel in Lansing. The school was closed in 1994. Unlike the similar House Bill 5354, this bill would not give the Mid-Michigan Leadership Academy the right of first refusal for a limited time. That charter school presently leases part of the property.
