2001 House Bill 4002

Introduced in the House

Jan. 10, 2001

Introduced by Rep. Judith Scranton (R-66)

To require a new formula for the disbursement of revenue that is generated when a 6% use-tax is collected from the sale of automobiles, auto-parts, and automotive leases. Under this proposal, larger portions of this tax revenue would be dedicated to the school aid fund and the comprehensive transportation fund. The general fund would receive less of this money than under the present statute.
