To create a Government Ethics Act which establishes a code of ethics that would be binding upon all elected state officials (legislature, governor, supreme court, attorney general, etc…). This act would also empower an ethics board and an ethics committee to investigate and rule upon potential violations of the ethics act. The ethics committee would be authorized to impose sanctions, and to make violators liable for damages. All public officials would be required to file disclosure forms regarding potential conflicts of interest.
