To require criminal background checks on all nursing home employees and potential applicants. The bill would deny employment to any person with a felony conviction within the previous fifteen years, and any person with misdemeanor record within the previous fifteen years, if that misdemeanor was for neglect, abuse, assault, criminal sexual conduct, fraud, or theft against a vulnerable adult.
