To require a prisoner with certain mental health needs to meet with a mental health professional before being placed on parole or before final release. The professional would review with the prisoner the community mental health programs where the prisoner will live and verify that the prisoner understands the course of medication, if any, prescribed. The bill also requires a 90-day supply of each medication prescribed for the prisoner be provided.
