To require the Department of Community Health to develop and distribute to each school district an informational pamphlet describing the 20 psychotropic prescription drugs that are most frequently prescribed to minors in Michigan, including Ritalin. The pamphlet would describe the medical condition for which each drug is prescribed, actual and possible side effects, including their signs and symptoms, and any other relevant information. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 5083-5086. See also House Bill 5087 and Senate Bill 628.
