To require that before a divorce is granted a married couple with children must complete either together or separately a course which is at least four hours long and includes training in communication conflict resolution skills, cooperative parenting techniques, the effect of divorce on children, substance abuse information, reconciliation and counseling options, and more. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 5153, and 5164 to 5168.
