To change the composition of the seven-member state fire fighters training council so that that the two members recommended by the state fire chief's association need not be active fire chiefs; that the one member recommended by the fire fighters union need not be an active fire fighter; and that two members be appointed who are recommended by the Michigan fire service instructors association. One member will still be a person recommended by the Michigan Municipal League and Michigan Townships Association, and one will still be recommended by the Michigan state firemen's association.
