To make hazing in a public or private school a criminal offense punishable by up to 30 days in jail. "Hazing" is defined as any method of initiation, preinitiation, or pastime by a student organization that causes or is likely to cause physical harm or danger, personal degradation, or disgrace resulting in mental harm.
