To increase the fee for entering and recording a deed from $5 to $8 for the first page and from $2 to $3 for each additional page. An additional $3 would be added to the recording fee for any document that assigned or discharged more than one instrument. Records and files search fees would go from 10 cents to 50 cents for each year grantor/grantee searches are made, with the minimum search fee going from $1 to $5. A portion of the fees would go to upgrade technology in register of deeds offices.
