To adopt a legislative package comprised of Senate Bills 72-75 and House Bill 4099, which are intended to provide greater protection for the safety of Family Independence Agency (FIA) workers who visit private homes. The bills provide for enhanced criminal penalties for threatening or harming FIA employees who is on the job, or for impersonating an FIA employee. Finally, the legislation requires threat diffusement training be provided for FIA employees required to perform home visits, and provides for sending two employees on home visits in certain situations.
