To establish standards for court action on a petition to place a mentally ill adult in a mandatory "assisted outpatient treatment" or "AOT" program, as described in House Bill 5826. The bill also establishes standards for the development of the mandated treatment plan by mental health doctors and professionals. See also House Bill 5825.
