To provide procedures, confidentiality, and civil immunity to certain family members or health care professionals who in good faith report to the Secretary of State that an individual is incompetent to drive a vehicle, and to authorize the Secretary of State to consider such a report “good cause” to suspend the individuals driver’s license. The bill provides for appeal procedures if the condition is temporary, and penalties for false reports.
