To exempt peace officers from the prohibition on possession of automatic firearms, silencers, bombs or bombshells, and gas ejecting devices. The bill would also extend to reserve or part-time on-duty peace officers an exemption that now applies to full time peace officers, from restrictions on transporting or possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle or boat. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 6108 to 6113. See also House Bill 6104.
