To allow state inspectors with carry concealed weapon (CCW) permits to carry a concealed firearm when doing off-site inspections on private property as part of their duties. Under current law, CCW holders doing inspections for the state (such as Family Independence Agency workers making home visits) are not permitted to carry while on duty.
