To give townships in Kent, Lapeer, Leelanau, Marquette, Washtenaw, or Wayne county one vote on the board which sets speed limits in townships and in school zones. Under current law, the state police, the state road commission, or for county roads a county road commission, jointly have this authority. The bill contains a provision stating that it would only be effect for two years.
