To allow state political parties to use contributions from corporations or labor organizations to purchase or construct a state political party office facility in Ingham County. The federal McCain/Feingold political campaign regulation law allows this if state law specifically authorizes it. Both major parties in Michigan currently do this, and the bill would add the required authorization to state statute.
