To exclude a period of incarceration, probation, and parole from the time periods the Secretary of State uses to determine when prior offenses occurred for purposes of revoking a person’s drivers license. This refers to the law which establishes that the commission within a given period of time of a certain number of certain offences, such as drunk or reckless driving, is grounds for license revocation.
