To impose a $25 fee on a person who receives a waivable traffic ticket, such as for not having his or her drivers license in the car, or requiring some piece of vehicle equipment to be repaired, etc. Typically, when a person shows the court that he or she has a license, or has completed the repair, etc., the ticket is waived. The bill would levy a $25 fee on such tickets, even though the violation is waived and does not become a part of one’s driving record.
