To require licensure and regulation of auctioneers. Under current law, local governments may license auctioneers. The bill would require a license applicants to serve a two-year apprenticeship with a licensed auctioneer, or one year if the person completes an approved training course. The bill is part of a package comprised of House Bills 5395 to 5398.
