To place before voters in the next general election a Constitutional amendment to extend the term limits for certain elected state offices. The resolution would allow state representatives to serve up to six terms of two-years each, and allow state senators to serve up to three terms of four-years each. Currently, representatives may only serve three terms, and senators may only serve two termst to extend the term limits for certain elected state offices. The resolution would also allow the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, or attorney general to serve up to three four-year terms, rather than two terms under the current Constitution.
