To urge the United States Trade Representative to refrain from agreeing to any provisions in any bilateral or regional negotiations that are detrimental to United States sugar policy or that threaten the United States sugar industry. Note: the "sugar industry" referred to includes producers of sugar, but not companies that use sugar in the creation of products they sell. The latter oppose policies that restrict sugar imports and make it more expensive.
