2003 Senate Bill 375

Introduced in the Senate

April 3, 2003

Introduced by Sen. Ray Basham (D-8)

To no longer deposit certain drivers license fee revenues into the transportation economic development fund. The money would instead go into the general fund, where it would be used to fund training for a new class of state police troopers. This bill is one of many authorizing revenue transfers which Gov. Jennifer Granholm is proposing to close a gap between state spending and expected revenue in the Fiscal Year 2003-2004 budget.
