To establish a technology board in the Department of Consumer and Industry Services which would evaluate applicants for a license to operate truth verification technology (lie detectors), and evaluate the technology for approval for use, sale, and distribution in this state. A similar function is now performed by a board in the Department of State Police. See also Senate Bill 666.
